Why Video Making Is the Best Way to Improve Productivity and Confidence
Video making is the best way of productivity.
Let me elaborate. Yes, I said it right. Video making is the best, or I would say, for a person who doesn't have any privilege to learn and see their progress, video making is the solution—but how you do it matters a lot.
Recording Videos
Initially, I recorded many videos, and when I watched them, they felt like trash. Believe me, they were. I used to swear about the videos, and I was scared to see them.
Just think about it—from childhood, when we are born, we see the world from our own point of view. Everything we speak and the tone we use feels normal to us. But when we listen to ourselves from another person’s perspective, it feels disgusting. That’s exactly what I felt about myself when I started recording. Those minor details—how I speak, what I focus on—were not cool, man.
There were many struggles. When I tried to speak in front of the camera, I would just get stuck and not be able to say anything. I also tried to mug up scripts, and I can say that off-camera it’s very easy, but as soon as the camera is on, my palms start sweating and fear kicks in.
Fear of what? Well, this is what I think—but just thinking about it doesn’t make it go away. Now I understand that to be a content creator or to improve in front of people, you have to be selfless.
This is the only way to improve in front of others as well as improve public speaking.
Now, what I did was simple—I just picked up my mobile and started recording.
